The Garland Pool is the name of a band of friends that formed in the fall of 1992 while attending UofA in Tucson, AZ.  The original members were Fred Pool (guitar, back-up vocals and song writing), Keith Leamons (lead vocals and songwriting), and Harold Garland (bass).
Since that time, the band took an extended break and only began to reform in southern Oregon in 1999, when former singer, Keith Leamons relocated.
